- Under Create, select Ledger.
4. Enter Ledger Details
You will be prompted to enter various details for the new ledger. Fill in the following fields:
- Name: Enter the name of the ledger (e.g., “Sales Account,” “Purchases Account,” “Cash Account”).
- Alias: This is optional; you can provide an alternative name for the ledger.
- Under: Select the appropriate group under which this ledger will be categorized (e.g., “Income,” “Expenses,” “Assets,” “Liabilities”). This helps in organizing your accounts.
- Opening Balance: If applicable, enter the opening balance for the ledger. Specify whether it is a debit or credit balance.
- Inventory Values: If the ledger is related to inventory, you can enable inventory values for this ledger.
